How do i go about becoming a wedding planner?

I am really interested in becoming a wedding planner. What certificates do I need to be one? Which classes should I take? Any additional information I should know?

I don’t think legally you need a certificate. But it would be more convincing if you did. Some schools offer career diplomas in wedding coordinating. For example, online. As distance learning.

If you are well organized and love planning everything down to the smallest detail.
You could start by setting up a small “office” in a room at your house. Somewhere your going to have to meet your potential clients.

Also lots of advertising wouldn’t hurt.
