After MUCH prayer. After watching WAY too much news on TV. And after CONSULTATION with friends in Kenya – the difficult decision was made to POSTPONE our scheduled project in Kenya this June. There is too much uncertainty at the moment. Dates for restarting our country are being pushed further & further. And Kenya is a few weeks behind us in this "curve" – which could mean that our trip would be right on the fringe of their crisis management. Not too mention that even if we could fly, there is no guarantee that we could get home, or that we wouldn't have to be quarantined once we returned. As I said, too much uncertainty in the world right now. So our leadership made the decision to postpone the trip for a year.

We will be traveling to serve at the exact same time NEXT summer. Your donations will remain on account for each member of our team – so they have a jumpstart on support raising for the project. If we want to find a positive in all of this, since

we aren't traveling until next summer we will be opening up the project to new applications, should others wish to join us in our efforts in 2021. We will begin promoting & accepting applications in the fall, in case YOU are interested in applying! We could find ourselves with a larger team, allowing us to accomplish even more than we had planned.

Ultimately it comes down to PLANS – we had ours, the Lord has His. None of us understand why the COVID-19 pandemic happened, but I do know that God has everyone's attention & that He won't waste this opportunity.

THANK YOU for your support & your prayers – for our team & for MoHi, our partners in Kenya. Right now they are trying to feed 15,000 families! Children who would normally be fed at school have been sent home. Parents who earned a small income as dayworkers are not permitted to work. Kenya has instituted a $200 fine for those leaving their homes. Our team is sending support to help purchase food. IF you would like to join us, I'll include a link for relief donations.

TRUSTING GOD's TIMING!
