Headpiece Comb
What kind of attachment should I use for this tiara headpiece?

Also I’m going to wear my hair half up half down and I will curl it as well. I’m special ordering my veil and the options for veil attachment are either
a) hand stitched to a comb
or
b) hand stitched to spring clip barrette.
I’m wondering which one would be better?

I would attach your veil to a comb. I would use a bobby pin on each end attached to where the silver loop in the picture is. That should be enough to hold it. If it’s a little heavier than it looks, use a few on the sides of it at the top as well. With the veil not being attached to the headpiece, there isn’t much stress on it so two should be plenty. If you want instead, you can attach the headpiece with a clear comb attached to the headpiece with clear thread.
